Susan George is a Franco-American political and social scientist, activist and writer on global social justice, poverty, underdevelopment and debt. She is a “scholar-activist”, a prolific writer and public speaker involved in many alter-globalisation movements and serves as President of the Transnational Institute in Amsterdam and honorary president of ATTAC-France.
